Jorge Luis Borges is an outstanding Argentine poet of the
20th century. He was born in Buenos Aires and studied in
Switzerland. When he returned to Argentina in 1921, he
walked the streets of the many districts of Buenos Aires,
especially Palermo. The result of his wanderings on foot
resulted in his first poetic work entitled “Fervor de Buenos
Aires.” In this visual we retrace the footsteps of Borges
while we see how the places looked a century ago and how
they look today. Borges once said: “I am and will always be
in Buenos Aires.” This DVD is dedicated to his memory
and the beautiful city he loved.
