Babbitt Instructional Resources was started in 1966 by
Harry E. Babbitt, PhD. While an instructor in Spanish, he
saw and experienced firsthand the need for visual materials
for teaching culture and history to his students, while at the
same time teaching them the language.
During those early years, the only medium available was
film. Since 1983, the format has been video, and in 2000, a
further technological advancement was made with the
adoption of the Digital video format for both "filming" and
editing. Now all are available on DVD from Digital masters.
